Dear Readers,
The cooler evenings have come as quite a relief and turns our minds towards the celebrations awaiting us through autumn and winter. With Halloween and Columbus Day (Dia de La Hispanidad) on its way we look at the traditions in Spain surrounding some of these celebrations.
Our thoughts go out to all the areas severely hit by recent storms as well as the destruction created by the erupting volcano on the island of La Palma.
The Mabs Race for Life is on 31st October. A fantastic event bringing our great community together. Whether you walk or run, it’s the taking part that counts. Let’s raise as much money as we can this year.
The rollercoaster of covid continues with various ebbs and flows in different areas. The need to remain vigilant on complying with the regulations is our main defence.
