Texture

You have probably heard the term ‘adding texture to a space’ but what dose this actually mean ? After decorating my new living room the space still felt flat and a bit plain so by adding layers of texture in forms of cushions, rugs and throws you can get that finished look that we all love right now. Using simple tricks can really help your home feel more complete and its as simple as changing over the cushion covers of existing cushions on a sofa or just investing in a chunky rug to contrast with a smooth floor.

‘Don’t be afraid to mix and match’

Mixing textures can increase the depth of the room and don’t be afraid to mix and match or to stick to one colour pallet and use texture to bring the space to life. See below for all the items I have fallen in love with this month on my Wish list.
